Band one doesn't look like much. Band two has a bit more to it:
And that's as far as I've gotten. (This is the tree pattern I talked about in this previous post.)
This might become a school project, as I find that the long-term gig gives me more time than I expected. I've got a couple other things I want to finish, too. I'm not sure what I'm going to work on this week, but it might actually be more than one thing. The cooler weather has gotten my still hands itching.
It’s a start. Good luck with the project.
ReplyDeleteThanks.
DeleteIt's a very festive shade of green. :)
ReplyDeleteIt feels more St. Patrick's Day to me. Very kelly green. But it'll work for Christmas.
DeleteAll the best with this project. Looks good.
ReplyDeleteThanks.
DeleteThat's nice. The beginning of a nice ruffly green tree.
ReplyDeleteYup. Hopefully it comes out as advertised.
DeleteCan't wait to see the finished product! :)
ReplyDeleteIt's a great shade of green.
ReplyDeleteLooks pretty.. that is a great shade of green you chose.
ReplyDeleteThe tree? Can't wait to see it in progress.
ReplyDeleteIt's now in progress...
DeleteYou can do that while teaching? Nice!
ReplyDeleteNot when I have to actively lecture, but the class is mostly independent work, so I have more time.
DeleteThis looks like a great start to the tree. I could see you do this 2 toned.
ReplyDeleteYes, that would definitely work.
DeleteLet your hands itch more so there'll be a lot more creativity 😊
ReplyDeleteUsually I have something on the needles, but lately I just haven't been in the mood.
DeleteThat tree will be so cute when it's finished.
ReplyDeleteThe start of the Ruffle Fir Tree looks great! Have you a cone for the trunk?
