The first day of school is next week.
(Assuming I work the first day of school, which isn't a given, I would write about that the week after next as the blog is always a week behind. So, I'm not quite back to subbing blogging quite yet.)
As my summer vacation draws to a close, I begin to think of all the things I didn't do this summer. Mostly, I have a bunch of projects that are sitting and staring at me. (I did a lot of resting. And sleeping. And reading.) I don't think there's anything I wish I had done, but I've still got a couple weeks to try and get them accomplished.
Which leads me to today's question:
What is something that you'd still like to do this summer?
The thing I'd like to do before summer ends? Have my birthday. Of course, that's kind of a given. (And I am really, really glad I didn't live near you because I would have thrown a fit if I had to go to school on my birthday)
ReplyDeleteI haven’t had much of a summer yet. Moving house took up a lot of time, and we’re still dealing with issues in the new house. We’ve managed a few baseball games but it really hasn’t felt like summer

DeleteI wish to keep up this prolific gardening. The pickling season has been wonderful from my single cucumber plant.

I would like to complete the Four County Library Road Trip. 42 libraries and I've done 18. (You have to juggle days and times open. Also, some of these libraries are a couple of hours drive from where I live and in different directions- it's a large area and takes a bit of math).

DeleteI'm getting ready to decorate my home. Just keeping it simple. Overall, it's been pretty amazing, but there's just one little thing that's been putting a damper on my sunny vibes - the constant rain showers that seem to be following me everywhere I go. Can you believe it? Even in the midst of this beautiful season, Mother Nature just can't seem to resist sprinkling a little extra water. But hey, I'm not letting it rain stop me.
