What if? It's the basis of many stories. We ask. We ponder. We wonder.
On Tuesdays I throw one out there. What if? It may be speculative. It may stem from something I see. It may be something I pull from the news.
Make of it what you will. If a for instance is not specified, interpret that instance as you wish. And if the idea turns into a story, I'd appreciate a thank you in the acknowledgements 😉
What if you could remember the future?
I wouldn't like that. I have enough problems trying not to remember some of the past, I don't want to know what's ahead. One thing with that would be feeling responsible for doing something about it if I didn't like what I remembered.
ReplyDeleteAs a senior citizen with less future ahead of me than past behind me, I would not want to remember the future.
ReplyDeleteYikes! I would not like that.
ReplyDeleteHumm, I do not have answer to this yet.

I'm not sure I'd like it either. It'd make living in the present hard.
ReplyDeleteI noticed you said REMEMBER the future and not SEEING the future! If I could remember, than that must mean I was there living it at one time.......YAY or not......hoping that makes me a time traveler.
ReplyDeleteThis question makes me dizzy. lol Be well, my dear.
ReplyDeleteIt's an amazing thought, but it would be so scary. If it was something bad, it would fill me with a sense of dread and fear, but on the other hand, I could have a redo!
ReplyDeleteHappy Monday, Liz.
