It's Begun

I pulled out my stitch dictionaries and found a pattern. I cast on. I started with moss stitch for the bottom and the sides. And I just completed one pattern repeat.

So, the new afghan is coming along. It's not quite big enough for me to enjoy the warmth while I'm working on it, but it'll get there sooner or later. Hopefully before things warm up.

    1. *snort* We've been absolutely frigid here. It's dipped down into the 30s (Fahrenheit). That's really as cold as it gets here. (And by 30s, I mean it got down as far as 38. At night.)

  7. Having a stitch dictionary and the fact you're casting on made me grin. I like the color, pattern, and wish you all the best.

    1. Stitch dictionaries are a must. There's no way to know all the possible stitches.

  8. It's a very nice pattern. I'm making some progress on my temperature afghan, and it helps that the weather here is brrr (22 right now at 6:15 pm) so I can always blow some cold air your way if you need more inspiration.

  12. A few years ago I made several throws but when I moved I gave away most of my yarn. I have to be in the mood to knit or crochet so when the mood hits again I will go off and buy more yarn. Lol....have fun.
