Season 5 of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel started yesterday on Amazon Prime.
You're not watching it? It's a period show (I believe season 1 started in the late 1950s, but the current season is in the 1960s) about a woman trying to become a stand-up comedian. It's by the people who made Gilmore Girls, so it was something that was on my radar from the beginning.
I'm excited, but I'm also sad. This is going to be the last season.
Are you watching?
Today's A to Z Challenge post brought to you by the letter
I tried REALLY hard with this. I watched 1.5 series, in fact, trying really hard to love it. But I disliked her so much I couldn't bear to watch another episode :( (*loved* Gilmore Girls)
ReplyDeleteI like to watch this.
ReplyDeleteCoffee is on and stay safe.
It's available on Amazon Prime here. I love this! That reminds me, I need to catch up with the subsequent seasons.
ReplyDeleteI really wanted to like the series. I watched the first season, part of the second, then lost interest.
ReplyDeleteThat's too bad. The seasons have their highs and lows.
DeleteI like series set in XX century. I want to want the first season :D
ReplyDeleteWorth your time. Definitely mid-century vibes.
DeleteMaybe I should give it a try.
ReplyDeleteIf it sounds like something you'd like, you should.
DeleteI've been thinking of trying this series. It's good to know that you really like it.
ReplyDeleteOnly watched a few episodes of Mrs. Maisel, but I didn't stick with it. Seemed really good, but so many shows, so little time.
ReplyDeleteYeah, it's easy to forget about shows, especially streaming ones.
DeleteIt sounds fun! Great M post ;)

ReplyDeleteI love this how! I waited and waited to see when the final season would begin. And now I'm going to miss the show when it's over.
"Harlem" is another good Amazon Prime series. If you haven't seen that one, I recommend checking it out.
I will take a look at that. I'm always on the hunt for new shows.
