What if the one thing you were trying to avoid ended up figuratively falling into your lap?

I appreciate your comments.
I respond to comments* via email, unless your profile email is not enabled. Then, I'll reply in the comment thread. Eventually. Probably.
*Exception: I do not respond to "what if?" comments, but I do read them all. Those questions are open to your interpretation, and I don't wish to limit your imagination by what I thought the question was supposed to be.

Oh my...
ReplyDeleteHopefully, since I'd been avoiding it, I'd have already thought about the "what ifs" and made plans just in case. It's just one of those things, a Murphy's Law.
ReplyDeleteIt is, rather.
DeleteI would get rid of it or figure it meant to be.
ReplyDeleteCoffee is on and stay safe
It has happened and it made me feel physically ill.
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry. Sadly, I know that feeling.
DeleteGod bless you
ReplyDeleteIf it's a big thing, I feel confident that I could roll with the punches. If it's something small that I'm avoiding, like ants in the kitchen, I'd fight it tooth and nail.
ReplyDeleteAnts in the kitchen... That's not a good thing. We finally had to resort of an exterminator. That was worth it.
DeleteYikes....so many ways to look at your questions! haha...if it keeps falling in my lap I would like to think I could deal with it by thinking that maybe it is for a reason and that I can handle whatever it is. Or I could look at it as thinking the universe is after me and with this being dropped in my life all the time it was out to do me in. Now, which way would I look at it? That always depends on where I am with my body at that time. I tend to always try and find the good in things that could be bad. Most days feeling bad I still try to smile and find the good....but on those really rough days, I might look at this question as it being a target on me!
ReplyDeleteYeah, there are lots of for-instances here. In my case, it's an "I can handle it". Luckily.
DeleteI pick up from you that you are a strong person, maybe a bit of an introvert, but when pushed to adjust to something you can "handle it"..
DeleteEh... maybe...
DeleteI would say some choice words not suitable for this blog and then I would have to face whatever it is. My way tends to be internet research and, if that doesn't work, ask people I know for advice. By the way, where I live, it's common to get ants in the house every spring. So we have the ant traps ready. Not fun - good luck!
ReplyDeleteLuckily, we don't get ants in the place I currently live. We have other, bigger, more disgusting bugs, though.
