Completing the Challenge

You may have noticed I once again did the A to Z Challenge last month. At this point, it's more a habit. And a game. Can I write blog posts as normal, but make it fit the letter of the day?

I won't bore you with how this works. I've written about it before. The only difference this year was that I did not make a back up plan. I didn't need it before, so why bother this year?

(Previous reflections posts: 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018.)

In case you missed some (or all) of my April posts, here are some highlights:

My "hopping" was kind of hit or miss. I went through the master list starting after where I was (#61) and I got to #221. The goal was to comment on five new blogs a day. Alas, this did not happen every day. It was more like 4-5 days per week, fewer (like two) during spring break. (You'd think I'd've had more time on vacation. Nope.)

Here are a few new to me blogs that I found via the challenge:

Plus, of course, I kept up with my usual blogs. There were some interesting themes:

If I didn't note your blog, post a link in the comments. Lots of really great themes. It's hard to remember what all of them were.

And now April is officially over. Whew. See you next year...

  1. Well done! And this is a fun synopsis. ~grin~ I received the opposite news today over what was expected from the vet. It's good news for Jezebel the cat and frustrating that I stressed so much over nothing. Thanks for all the kind support!

  2. I'm going to check out some of those blogs you mentioned. It is so a challenge to do the challenge and to try to read new blogs daily plus keep up with everything. I think that's why I burnt out from participating, but it is still a fun thing to do!

    Congrats again for finishing!

  5. Congrats. I really fell down on finding new blogs I liked, so I may "borrow" some from your list. Eventually. My theme was "finding America through photos" and my reflections post will post tomorrow.

    1. Yeah, it was hard getting any interactions. I found a few cute blogs, but I didn't get visits back. I may try them again now and see if they have more time to interact.

  9. Wow, I didn't realize it was your 7th time around, Liz - congratulations :-)

It was spring "break" for me, too. Meaning I still have to go to work while my youngster was off school.

  13. Thanks for regularly dropping by my blog, and for the comments. Really appreciate it. Thanks to my crazy/hectic work schedule, it has been tough keeping up with posts of others, including yours.
A good wrap of your April blog posts. This year was my only 2nd year. Found it good fun.
I am yet to catch up with the master list. Found two or three new blogs which I could relate to.

    1. The master list is tricky. So many on there didn't even start the challenge.

I appreciate your comments.

I respond to comments* via email, unless your profile email is not enabled. Then, I'll reply in the comment thread. Eventually. Probably.

*Exception: I do not respond to "what if?" comments, but I do read them all. Those questions are open to your interpretation, and I don't wish to limit your imagination by what I thought the question was supposed to be.
