Superhero

At the heart of much speculative fiction (and fiction in general) is a question. What if? On Tuesdays I like to throw one out there and see what you make of it. Do with it as you please. If a for-instance is not specified, feel free to interpret that instance as you wish. And if you find this becomes a novel-length answer, I'd appreciate a thank you in the acknowledgements ðŸ˜‰

What if you already had super human powers, but you had no idea you had them?

  1. My super power is putting up with my kids. I constantly amaze myself with this one.

  2. Oh, what a great notion for a horror or sorrowful story. So many options here. Come to think of it, my main characters are sort of coming upon that situation. ~grin~ You just put it in succinct form, a true and rare gift in my humble opinion.

  3. If I never find out then I never missed out really. I love my hubby who has ADHD and can be quite difficult so I think I have some superpower already.

  4. If I had no idea, then it wouldn't be any different from now really. Which is too bad.

  5. Then I would be in for a total shock when they appeared.....then I would have to play around with all them and see what I was good at! Personally being a fan of Charmed I would rather find out that I am a good witch and I had witchy powers!

  6. So how would I know, unless I survived a car crash because I was invunerable, or fell out of window and flew? Actually, I used to have daydreams when I was growing up that I had superpowers and went through life not knowing it. Strange....Alana ramblinwitham.blogspot.com

  8. I think it would actually be a relief. I might get into more trouble if I had super powers.

  9. Would certainly be quite a surprise when they made themselves known!

I appreciate your comments.

I respond to comments* via email, unless your profile email is not enabled. Then, I'll reply in the comment thread. Eventually. Probably.

*Exception: I do not respond to "what if?" comments, but I do read them all. Those questions are open to your interpretation, and I don't wish to limit your imagination by what I thought the question was supposed to be.
