Lizard

I opened my front door (looking for deliveries), and found this guy sunning on the porch...

Not sure what kind of critter he is, but if he's not some sort of lizard, then I just failed the A to Z for today.

  1. Of course he's a lizard, and a very fine looking lizard :)
You're so lucky to live where you do *sigh*

  2. I think he's kind of cute. You're lucky. All I find around my place is spiders.

  3. Very cool long lizard paying you a visit! :)

  4. Lucky you to be in California with a lizard at your door. I'm stuck with snow, which means there's nothing more exciting than hungry squirrels at my door.

  5. aww, that's quite the greeting. :) We don't have lizards here, at least not wild ones, but when I lived in Singapore, there were everywhere. I still remember seeing my first wild lizard, right outside the airport. And although I thought they were adorable, they somehow become terrifying when they're scattering about your apartment in the middle of the night.

Have fun with a-z. Thanks for stopping by my blog. :)

    1. That would be terrifying. The bigger the creature, the scarier it is to have a wild one in the house.

  6. He (she?) is an alligator lizard whose tail has been broken off and is regrowing. So says the science guy who lives at my house.

  7. Looks like a lizard to me. Whatever it is, I'd have run (big wimp!)

    1. He was frozen in place. I managed to get two pics snapped, so I wasn't really worried about him.

  8. We have lots of lizards, little guys, running around outside. I don't mind them as long as they stay outside and don't venture into the house. :)

  10. We don't see many lizards where I live. Salamanders maybe, which kinda look like what you've got, but they mostly stay hidden. If there are others, I don't know about them. It's probably the cold weather. (6 months of winter. :)
