Questioning the Questioner

At the moment, I'm drawing a bit of a blank as to what question to ask. So, let me turn it around...

What's a question you'd like to ask me?

I might even answer it in the comments. (If it's a really good question, I might steal it for a future Friday question.)

  1. Are you going to take a well-deserved vacation this summer?

    1. You mean going away someplace? Nah. Traveling is stressful. I don't consider it fun.

  2. This is a real quandary for a friend:
If some of your neighbors treated you horribly and you couldn't afford to move, what would you do?

    1. I don't know. Ignore the neighbors? If that's possible? I might have to rely on some of my metaphysical training then, things to block having to deal with them. Cut them off somehow.

    2. She needs that sort of training. ~sigh~ I've suggested headphones several times. That helped me when the guy next door snubbed me for several years. We'd been on excellent terms for a long time. I always wondered what I'd done wrong but the gal across the street said his (now) ex-girlfriend was the instigator. Fortunately, their relationship with the guy's parents (who live next door to her and her husband) has improved and the son sold to that super nice couple I mentioned. :D Karma, perhaps? Be well.

  3. How did you end up becoming a teacher? (I started reading your blog about 10 years ago and I can't remember if you ever published an "origin" story). Was it a career change from the evil toy store? (OK, two questions, but I don't always follow rules).

    1. I have never published an "origin" story. I only started the blog after becoming a sub.

Short answer, I kind of fell into it, intending it to be temporary until something better came along. Nothing better came along. (I had intended to do more writing. That didn't quite happen.)

    1. I, uh... I'm just trying to get through the day most days. I've never really considered a "dream".

    1. My dad is a few miles away. My brother and mother (and my brother's family) moved to Ohio several years back (that's a long story having to do with SIL's MS and her doctor's clinical study).

  8. What is your Favourite film and which movie do you hate but everyone seems to like? Why?

    1. Yikes, favorite? As in favorite of all time? So much pressure. I can't...

Can I go with a film I like a lot? If I label it "favorite", I'd have to spend a while whittling things down and debating which is better and such, and then ten minutes after hitting "publish" I would want to change it.

So, for a film I like a lot, let's say Stardust. I like that film a lot.

I don't really have a film I hate that everyone else likes. I mean, other than creature features. (I can't abide creature features.)

I think I'll go with Ghostbusters. I loved it when it came out. I rewatched it a couple years ago. It did not age well. (Very cringe.)

I appreciate your comments.

I respond to comments* via email, unless your profile email is not enabled. Then, I'll reply in the comment thread. Eventually. Probably.

*Exception: I do not respond to "what if?" comments, but I do read them all. Those questions are open to your interpretation, and I don't wish to limit your imagination by what I thought the question was supposed to be.
