Kennection #435


I'm doing something slightly different this week. It's a different sort of quiz. . .

Kennection #435

If any of you are Jeopardy fans, you might remember Ken Jennings and his 75 wins several years back. He does a weekly quiz that's posted on Mental Floss' website. 

There are five questions. (Just type your answer in the box. If it's correct, it'll turn green.) Then at the bottom is the "What's the Kennection?" That's the thing that all five answers have in common. Sometimes it's obvious. Sometimes it's obscure. But generally I groan at the revelation.

For this one, I knew two of the five, had to search for a third (I knew it, but couldn't quite recall it, so I looked it up), and the last two I consulted Google for. Cheat, don't cheat, it's up to you. 

Alas, I did not get the Kennection this time. But sometimes I do. It just depends. 

So, how'd you do? And did you get the Kennection? (No spoilers, please.)

    Yep. I got the connection. I have no idea how, because my brain at the moment is completely fried. :)

      Understandable. It's funny how sometimes the connection is so obvious, but other times it's just not.

    I got all of them except the "Kennection". I don't really get how Steve Martin has arrows. Or a drafting compass.

    I surprised myself getting 3/5 correct. One I knew for sure, the other two were guesses, but reasonable guesses. The two I couldn't even guess at.

    We don't get Saturday Night Live here so I had to look that one up. Didn't get the connection.

    I knew 3, one I knew but couldn’t remember the word and the Konnection? Did not know at all.

    I only knew the answer to one of the questions and I didn't want to look up the others so I guess I didn't get the Kennection :)

    I only knew the answer to one question for certain and one "maybe". So I didn't get far at all. That's why Ken Jennings is Ken Jennings and I am...not. lol.

    Alas, I didn't get the Kennection. I also got #4 incorrect because I failed dto put an 's' and the end of the second word.
