Entrelac Scarf Progress, Part 4

I made more progress than I did the previous week. . .

It's about three feet long now. I am just about out of the first skein of yarn (those yarn cakes are big). So, it's coming along.

I did get distracted by an order last week, though. The customer who ordered the Rasta lip balm holder back in July wanted another one.

But, I was not happy with the color combo on it, so I decided to play around a bit.

(If you follow me on Instagram, you've already seen this.)

Number 1 is the color combo I did before. Personally, I like the brighter yellow. Which do you think is a more Rasta combination?

Ultimately, though, it wasn't up to me. I let the customer decide which one they wanted. (They couldn't decide and took all three.)

  1. Loving the scarf! That will keep one warm for sure. I like all 3 wouldn't be able to make up my mind either. They look Christmassy to me.

  2. I love that scarf. Makes me wish I lived somewhere where scarves were needed.

I like the brighter yellow, too. I would have to say #2 or #3.

  4. It's a beautiful scarf although, for me, I wouldn't have made it as wide as it looks (maybe what I perceive as "wide" is an optical illusion, though). You have a devoted customer in the one who took all three lip balm colors. I agree with another commenter; #2 and #3 both look Christmasy. I would go with #3.

    1. It's wide. I didn't swatch before I cast on, but I figure it'll be scrunched anyway.

  5. Look how nice it's coming out! And it matches your outfit. I think #2 looks the most rasta-y, but they're all cool looking. No wonder the customer wanted them all.

  7. #3 for me but I am colour blind so I wouldn't rely on my eyes! The scarf is looking fab, but I can't believe how much you got done on one skein. That's amazing.

  12. The brighter yellow really pops, so I agree with you. The scarf is lovely. It almost looks like dragon scales.

  14. Choosing all sounds like me! Heh... The second one seems ideal for the theme, though. And the scarf is looking super nice.

    1. Yeah, that's what I thought, too. I'm surprised at all those saying #3 looks Rasta. I thought that was the least Rasta of the bunch.

  15. Hi Liz - love your scarf ... beautiful colours. Sensible letting the customer chose which one - then they take them all ... clever. Stay safe - Hilary
