Teenage Wishes Part 16

There was this questionnaire called "The Wishes You'd Like to Come True". It was the assignment for a class at the continuation high school. I thought some of the answers were genius (or at least comedy gold), so I started "borrowing" them for my blog. (First post here. If you haven't been following this strand, you can see the rest of the posts here.)

Today is the last one. I promise. (Unless I run across this being used as a lesson plan again, but I kind of doubt it.)

As before, the spelling and capitalization have been copied directly from the students' papers. And this is from 2007 (this might be a factor in some of the answers).

The question: "The famous person I'd like to be. Why?"

  • none. because if I were to be famous I would want to be famous by my name only.
  • Tinkerbell. cause shes pretty.
  • I don't know. because their alot of people who I'd like to be.
  • Capone. Cool guy.
  • Parris Hilton. I love her lifestyle.
  • Oscar De La Hoya. Because he got 25 million dollers for losing.
  • Chris Brown. I love that boy and he is fine.
  • Vin Diesal. Vin Diesal is buff.
This concludes the Teenage Wishes posts. Which was your favorite question? If I were to encounter this questionnaire again, what question would you like to see included? (I could always ask them to put a couple more answers on the back.)

  1. Hilarious. And interesting. Don't kids know how to spell/use grammar any more?

Some days I forget how young sixteen is. Then again I have a ten year old who would answer with more depth than these kids, so I suppose it's a symptom of the school system, not the actual kids (we homeschool). Oh, and TV.

  2. They're all awful answers: role models, reasons, spelling. Except the first one. I admire that person.

I appreciate your comments.

I respond to comments* via email, unless your profile email is not enabled. Then, I'll reply in the comment thread. Eventually. Probably.

*Exception: I do not respond to "what if?" comments, but I do read them all. Those questions are open to your interpretation, and I don't wish to limit your imagination by what I thought the question was supposed to be.
