Again, I did not make a whole lot of progress on the Calash last week:
Although, since April 25th, you can see more of a difference:
I am on the second half, and there is no deadline on this, so the only reason I'm concerned by my lack of progress is that my Monday posts have become rather pointless of late.
The summer school class ends on Thursday. Hopefully that means that I'll have more headspace to work on something yarny (probably crochet as that tends to be easier in the hotter months). We'll see.
It's been hard to focus on anything lately. Here's hoping I actually get a restful July.
Does sound like a month of leisure is what you need, Liz. Why not? You deserve it. I like that last shot your took. Interesting angle.
ReplyDeleteIt’s looking good, I hope you get a chance to work on it soon
ReplyDeleteI actually added two stripes on Saturday. Well, one and a half. But that's pictured.
DeleteI love those colors. Though looking at that last picture gives me anxiety because I keep picturing a gust of wind knocking the ball of yarn of the railing.
ReplyDeleteHere's to a restful July.
ReplyDeleteIt's looking fantastic and I love the colors!
ReplyDeleteThanks.
DeleteSorry you didn't make much progress. But I agree with the others that it looks great. And I love the colors.
ReplyDeleteWith everything happening in our world, it is so hard to concentrate. But you will get it done. Or find a new project to work on. Perhaps, is it possible to update one of your old craft posts - how the giftee liked it, something you learned from the project, whatever?
ReplyDeleteThat's a thought. Although, most of my recipients live out of state, so it'd be hard to pin them down.
Deletesummer is a hard time to focus on anything here in Michigan. we are all too busy trying to enjoy the nice weather while we have it.
ReplyDeleteWe're spoiled by good weather. For me, summer is too hot. Although the summer school class isn't helping...
DeleteThis look so beautiful. You are so talented.
ReplyDeleteThanks.
DeleteNice colors and now you finally get that break. Where you posed it, on the rail, is that a pond or stream?
ReplyDeleteIt's a man-made pond.
Deletethat looks lovely! great work!
