Jail Cell (Phone)

I could have sworn I had this photo on my phone still, but it's gone missing. Luckily, I posted it on Instagram a while back. Otherwise, I'm not sure what I'd post today...

Have you ever accidentally deleted a photo you meant to save? Have you ever wished you "accidentally" deleted a photo?

  1. Unfortunately I have deleted a photo I wish I had kept! :(

  2. Oh no. The poor cell phones.

I've deleted photos by mistake. Usually it happens by me accidentally hitting the wrong button. I have clumsy thumbs.

  3. Kids don't carry slingshots to school anymore?

  4. That's a cute idea! I have deleted photos by accident and hated myself for my mistake. :(

    1. When I saw it in the classroom, I laughed. And I knew I had to take a pic before I left for the day.

  5. I love that Jail cell for a phone. I wish I had that on my desk at work with all my clients who answer their cell while I am trying to talk to them about their debt. I have deleted a picture I wanted to keep and I have gotten rid of pictures...accidentally:)

  6. We didn't have that problem when I was in school. And we made it through the day without being reachable by our parents just fine!

  7. I wish that the Cone of Silence from the original Get Smart TV show existed in real life, and that it existed on mass transit. Just sayin' Alana ramblinwitham.blogspot.com

  8. I wish I had that when I was a high school teacher. :-)
As far as I remember, I haven't deleted any important photos.

    2. It's a great idea, isn't it?

  9. No cell phones when I was a kid in school. We communicated the old fashioned way--writing and passing notes:) When I taught, they weren't allowed in school. Sometimes I'd like to put my family's phones in cell prison!

    1. Sometimes they still do pass notes. I love to snag them when I can. And post them...

  10. Nothing worse for a teen to discover their phone in jail :) No, I don't think I accidentally deleted a picture, maybe because I take more pictures than I need for something :)

which reminds me, maybe I need to delete some pictures to free up some storage space :)

  11. That actually is great idea! Go to class to learn, not talk on the phone.

    1. I thought it was brilliant. That's why I had to take the pic.

  12. That's great! We just have little cards that we hand out that say "please take your conversation outside" . The high ceilings cause severe echos and people actually come to the library and hang out and read... I get shushed more than I shush others.

  13. Fun photo! For some reason I am more organized with my regular documents than my photo files.

  14. Great photo and concept. Yes I'm always deleting photos I need later. Just like I throw things out and need them the very next week!

  15. Brilliant!!! If I haven't deleted them by mistake, one of my kids has. I've used the phone to keep them quiet or happy on many occasions, and then can't find stuff. They hold the buttons down, get the "shakey" icons with the red delete "x" and keep pressing. Bye, bye apps...

    1. 2-year-olds are the worst at that sort of thing. (Still angry at nephew, now 4, for deleting one great shot of niece...)

  16. Hehe, I like that.

I've occasionally forgotten to back up photos. Worst has been when I've heavily edited a photo but not saved a copy of the original as well. I took a lovely photo of my Grampy once but then messed around with it and now I don't have the original, just one with black and white and weird colours.

  17. I’m going to get one of those jails for my husband.

  18. I'm thinking I need a jail for mine and my husband's cell phone during meal times. We're both as bad as each other for "just need to check something" and then carry on for the whole meal.

  19. You don't want your cell to end up in the cell.

  20. I lose photos all the time. What would we do without Facebook and Instagram? So many times I go there looking for photos.

  21. Haha! Great image. And, yes, I've lost many, many photos. I'm pretty sure there's a virtual pixie living in my phone that survives on photo pixels.

    1. That must be it! Well, I'd think so if I wasn't guilty of going through and deleting myself...

  22. I totally know the feeling. Drives me mad sometimes when I look for a certain picture then realize that it's been deleted. And can I just say that that "J" card holder looks so cute? It would be perfect for my name! :))
