Are you watching How the States Got Their Shapes? Just me?
Last year, The History Channel did a two hour show. This year, they extended it into a weekly series. And it's fascinating. It's history and geography with all sorts of tidbits that I have never heard before.
Check out an episode. I think you'll enjoy it. (And here ends my Friday recommendation.)

I appreciate your comments.
I respond to comments* via email, unless your profile email is not enabled. Then, I'll reply in the comment thread. Eventually. Probably.
*Exception: I do not respond to "what if?" comments, but I do read them all. Those questions are open to your interpretation, and I don't wish to limit your imagination by what I thought the question was supposed to be.

I don't watch the history channel, but I'll have to check it out this week. :)
ReplyDeleteI don't watch any TV, and I'm not American so I don't get this channel anyway ;) The show sounds great though!
ReplyDeleteOops, sorry Trisha. I didn't realize I had international readers.
ReplyDeleteI watched this and thought the whole bit on the Mason-Dixon line was really interesting.
