Random Question

While riding in a car today I saw it again. I've seen it as a plaque, a medallion, and a bumper sticker. This time it was on a license plate frame:

"Never drive faster than your angel can fly."

This has never made sense to me. Why wouldn't your angel just ride along in the car with you?
