What if? It's the basis of many stories. We ask. We ponder. We wonder.
On Tuesdays I throw one out there. What if? It may be speculative. It may stem from something I see. It may be something I pull from the news.
Make of it what you will. If a for instance is not specified, interpret that instance as you wish. And if the idea turns into a story, I'd appreciate a thank you in the acknowledgements 😉
What if you got an opportunity to live on the moon?
I’d love to visit the moon, but I don’t think I’d want to relocate permanently
ReplyDeleteA nice place to visit...
DeleteI feel like Ernie. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kIq8jLj5TzU
ReplyDeleteVast improvement over this place, even if there's nothing to breathe.
ReplyDeleteThere is too much here I would miss. This is my home.
ReplyDeleteI did not specify that it was a one-way trip. I wonder if people would come back to Earth for vacations.
DeleteI would miss Earth too much. Maybe I could just spend a month each year on the moon?
ReplyDeleteI did not specify if this would be a possibility, so that sounds like a plan.
DeleteNot for me. But at times I think Idaho is pretty crazy. who knows.
ReplyDeleteCoffee is on and stay safe
I wouldn't mind visiting but it would be too far from family and friends to move there.
ReplyDeleteThere would be no cats on the moon, certainly no wild ones. The claw problem with puncturing space suits would be difficult to overcome, I'm afraid, so I'll stay put on earth, where the wild cats roam and I'm happy.
ReplyDeleteBut that brings up an interesting point: would we want to bring animals (pets or otherwise) on a journey to another world? Claws are definitely a con.
DeleteI have no interest at all in space travel whatsoever, and absolutely no living on the moon.
ReplyDeleteI guess I'm weird. I thought there'd be more takers on this question.
DeleteWhat if, would I? Maybe, but by the time things would be worked out as to all being safe or being able to come back forth to visit....I might do it....
ReplyDeleteIt might be interesting.
DeleteOh looky, Grey rocks and there is Grey sand. Nope, I have no desire.
ReplyDeleteI would assume that it would be like living in a place where there's a harsh winter. There would be indoor fun built.
DeleteOkay, first I have to tell you, these are my favorite posts. Second, heck yeah. Sign me up! What an adventure that would be.
ReplyDeleteI do the questions every Tuesday, although of late I've been having issues thinking up new ones. I might do some reruns.
