Another Painting and Story

My uncle's been at it again.

A couple weeks ago I posted his videos depicting a trip to New Orleans in 1961. Today he's sharing another story from 1961, this one taking place in Little Rock...

If you'd like to check out his YouTube channel, his blog, or his Twitter, I'm sure he'd love your feedback.

    1. (I was kinda scrambling for posts this week, so it's kinda cheating...?)

  3. I enjoyed the video. It's sad that a black person couldn't be served with the white people in 1961! Did your uncle paint the images in the video? And was the music a recording he did?

    1. Yes, he did the painting. As for the music, I doubt it. (Maybe he'll pop in and answer that for sure.)

  6. I'll make a note to visit tomorrow to listen to it; I'm on a computer that doesn't have the best of sound. Looking forward to it!

  7. It's still so hard to believe that that was the way things were in the not so distant past.

  9. I could listen to his voice all day and to any stories he wants to share. Glad he chose to have the drink with his friend in the kitchen. Visited his blog :)

    1. He is. It's like he's creating his memoirs in his own medium.
