X

I figured X would be a hard one. Anticipating this, I planned ahead...

By the way, this took me two tries. The first swatch didn't turn out so hot.

Now I wonder if I should try to make swatches for the whole alphabet. Should I?

  1. Oh! This is such a great idea for X! I have an afghan that I did the whole alphabet in bobble stitches. I struggled with X- I should've thought of this!

Making the whole alphabet would be very cool, but you would have to post them! Or perhaps save them for next year's A-Z!

Great job on making an X!

  2. It would take me a lot more than two tries. =)

Alphabet swatches could be a cool A to Z theme next year.

  3. Cool! I'm new to knitting, so this pattern would be hard for me. Glad we've made it this far into the challenge!!!

    1. It's just simple color work. And yes, we're almost through it.

  4. Like an old-fashioned sampler but knitted. Great idea! I'm envious, I never could get the hand of knitting. Happy A-Z!

  5. Nice that you thought ahead! I used to crochet a time ago, but I forgot how to do it now. I have never knitted before

  6. Love it, and I love the idea of an alphabet afghan. Just remember to take a pic of each square so you can post each letter during next year's A to Z Challenge. Oh jeez, did I just mention next years? *runs and hides*

  8. X is always a tough letter. I bet if you did all the letters you could make a cute alphabet blanket.
