Felted Beads

A couple years ago, I went a little bead crazy.

Now I've got tons of these, and no idea what to do with them. Any ideas?

  1. Depends how big they are. For smaller ones I'd hang three or four on different length threads, twice, and make earrings. I suppose you could use two for larger beads. That's what I plan to do if I ever get around to using the felt bead kit I won from a magazine.

    1. I did earrings. And bracelets. And magnets. (Yeah, I'm just whining...)

  2. You could get a glass jar and fill it up with them. It's simple, but it would make a pretty decorative piece. My mom has something like that, but filled with wine corks, and it looks nice. Your beads would me much more colorful.

  3. Flog em on ebay to the highest bidder!

  4. You can get small end night lite kit that is an empty jar and you fill it with what ever you want.

  5. Depending what grades and or subjects you teach, you could try to find a way to incorporate them into an activity? I must say that is a problem I've never been faced with.

    1. Since I'm a sub, I don't get to plan the activities all that much.

  6. They are so cute! What are they used for? I like the idea of earrings. Maybe you could sell them in your Etsy?

  7. These are awesome. There are just so many things you could do with them. Selling them is a good idea if you don't want them anymore.

    1. I did try selling them once. No takers. Thanks for the thought, though.

  8. I'd like looking at the colours through the glass of the container. :)

*Exception: I do not respond to "what if?" comments, but I do read them all. Those questions are open to your interpretation, and I don't wish to limit your imagination by what I thought the question was supposed to be.
