An In-Between Project

My Christmas knitting crochet is all done. And I now once again find myself between projects. Sigh.

Luckily, I have a project that I started back in June. It's been sitting in my project box since I set it down sometime in July to start on the octopus hats. I pulled it out again on Saturday.

I doubt I'll work on this long before a new bright, shiny project comes along tempting me to work on it right away. I'm already eyeing a star ornament project (Ravelry link), and I'm contemplating making myself a new purse. But until then, I have something to keep my hands busy.

What's keeping your hands busy these days?

  1. Nice project. I think I am going to try crochet again.

  2. Great progress on Calash. Is it cold enought to wear it as a hood? Cute Starry Light stars too, future new project!

  3. I could never put down a project before it's finished. I have to keep focused!

  5. I hear you about bright shiny new projects. I'm so easily distracted. But hanks for sending me down a rabbit hole of sorts. I checked out that star ornament and ended up having to reset my Ravelry password and adding a couple of things to my profile. I did really need to reset the password. I had to hold myself back from looking for patterns. What I can't seem to find now is my Raveler # (no where on my profile)although I'll no doubt ever have anything to post about. I did join in 2012 - yikes almost 10 years ago!

    1. I find I only look for patterns when I want to make something. I guess I'm a project knitter (as opposed to a process knitter).

  6. Congratulations on getting the octopus hats done! What's keeping my hands busy? I have a bunch of unfinished things, of all sorts, but I can't say they're keeping me busy, as I'm not terribly motivated!

    1. I know that feeling. I'm rather glad I don't have any pressing projects at the moment. I have the headspace to plan right now.

  8. That's either the best part or the worst, depending.

  9. Most of my time has been spent either cooking/baking or playing with cats. :D Best wishes on finding new and finishing old projects.

    1. I haven't touched this all week. Sigh. Baking sounds like fun. Especially the finished product :)

  10. Starting to read the backlog of posts I am behind in - I promise I won't comment on all of them!

I have a couple of new projects I got recently so I'm really hoping to find the time to work on them soon. I guess you'll know from my blog!

I appreciate your comments.

I respond to comments* via email, unless your profile email is not enabled. Then, I'll reply in the comment thread. Eventually. Probably.

*Exception: I do not respond to "what if?" comments, but I do read them all. Those questions are open to your interpretation, and I don't wish to limit your imagination by what I thought the question was supposed to be.
