I'm not officially doing the A to Z Challenge this year, but I thought it would be fun to fit my posts to the letter of the day when possible. And with a random quiz, of course it's possible.
So, today your task, if you choose to accept it, is to find the first name that starts with C that goes to the three last names provided. And bonus, it's a matching thing, so you're given all the possible first names up front.
C Names by 3 Surnames Quiz
A few things to remember:
- Let the site fully load before you begin. It's slow until then.
- There are "prev" and "back" buttons so you can skip if you're not sure.
- Yes, it's timed. Sorry.
Good luck, and let me know how you did in the comments.
18/20 eh, not too bad. Most I knew right off.
ReplyDeleteThat was well done tying into the challenge. :) Be well!
ReplyDeleteQuizzes are easy. That's why they are part of the "summer schedule".
DeleteI got 100% in 3:41. I would have gone faster if I realized at firs that the quiz was timed. I should have paid better attention to your description of the quiz!
ReplyDeleteKim
I think all the quizzes are timed on that site.
Delete7/20, oups ;))
ReplyDeleteThat was a pretty easy one for me. I got it with 3:14 left. There was always someone whose name I recognized, except for the Cindy one, so I just saved that one for last.
ReplyDeleteI wonder why I know such things, really. 20/20
ReplyDeleteWe all have such useless information stored in our brains.
DeleteIt is a rough day for my brain these days! I'll try this again when it turns back on.
ReplyDeleteNo worries. It's pretty simple. But things are hard nowadays.
DeleteHaven't heard of quite a few of them - 11. :(
ReplyDeleteI got 92%; not bad for one of the quizzes you post :)
ReplyDeletebetty
I got 18 out of 20 so not bad
ReplyDeleteVery good job.
DeleteThere are certainly a lot of ways to occupy your time if you have nothing to do!
ReplyDeleteHope you are well!
True. That quiz site has thousands of quizzes...
DeleteNot so great, I got 80%.
ReplyDeleteThat's great. 16/20 is fine.
DeleteNot quite familiar with many of the names.
ReplyDeleteI decided to try this one for a chuckle as I'm generally clueless when it comes to celebrity names. My score was better than expected, with 14 out of 20, especially since I just started clicking on names at the end before it shut me down at 3:10. Heh...
ReplyDeleteGood job, then. I wonder why it shut you down. I think once you get one wrong, it's considered wrong and you don't get another chance.
Delete18/20. I missed the ones who were named Chad and Chelsea.
ReplyDeleteI was doing well but the website was going way too slow like it was 1995 and I had dial up.
ReplyDeleteI haven't done the A to Z for several years now. Just got very disappointed with it. I would work at visiting 10-15 blogs daily and the number of people who never visited back was HUGE. Some even had comments turned off so clearly had no attention of visiting; but of course you didn't know that until you had taken the time to read the whole post. Anyway I got frustrated by it. I'm terrible with quizzes/games/puzzles. Good luck to all. Stay well.
ReplyDeleteYeah, I know what you mean. It's always the visiting that gets me, so I decided not to bother this year. Of course, I didn't realize that I'd actually have time this April...
DeleteI got 15/20 which I was quite pleased with as the only Brit I spotted was Dickens! That's my excuse, anyway, and I'm sticking to it!
ReplyDeleteNot So Sweet Toffee
That's Purrfect
Yes, my bad for going US-centric again. It's a bad habit. I'm afraid next week's quiz is also US-centric...
