Don't Look Behind the Curtain


At the heart of much speculative fiction (and fiction in general) is a question. What if? On Tuesdays I like to throw one out there and see what you make of it. Do with it as you please. If a for-instance is not specified, feel free to interpret that instance as you wish. And if you find this becomes a novel-length answer, I'd appreciate a thank you in the acknowledgements. ðŸ˜‰

What if this is all a big, fat distraction?

No, I'm not going to specify from what. Or which. I had no idea what to ask today. This is the best I could do. I'm going to let your imaginations run wild.

    It kind of is, in a way, if you have a faith. We of faith sometimes get distracted by what is going on around us and we forget the bigger purpose of why we are here. A lot of distractions out there in various forms; easy to sometimes go down the wrong road, no matter what you may or not be believe.

    I don't want to think that the previous 8 years was the distraction for what we have today. That would be truly sick if it was a distraction.

    For me, distractions usually come with migraine pain. Being able to move beyond my head and pain is hard.

    We are all living in a virtual reality series watched by an alien race. So far, they have been happy with all the story lines and revel in our misery. But, one day, the series is going to be cancelled and we all will go **poof**.

    That is scary that there is no direction to that question....we could come up with so much. I say LIFE....maybe it is a big fat distraction! Maybe the crap that happens to us during LIFE is just so we don't realize just how boring it is???
