Just How I Pictured It

At the heart of much speculative fiction (and fiction in general) is a question. What if? On Tuesdays I like to throw one out there and see what you make of it. Do with it as you please. If a for-instance is not specified, feel free to interpret that instance as you wish. And if you find this becomes a novel-length answer, I'd appreciate a thank you in the acknowledgements.
😉

What if it does work out the way you envisioned? (And I'm not going to specify an "it".)

  1. Since my visions tend to be positive, I’d be ecstatic if everything worked out

  2. I would be beyond happy and also not have pain. This would be great.

  3. Since I'm a pessimist, it would be terrible!

  4. I hope I'd be as happy as I imagine it would make me!

  5. Then I would deploy my "shocked" face.

  6. We always hope it will work out the way we imagine but I guess it's not knowing the outcome that makes trying new things so brave!

Hope that you had a magical Christmas :)

  8. If hanging out with the brothers of rock band Palaye Royale came true as I once dreamed it would be a blast. :D

I appreciate your comments.

I respond to comments* via email, unless your profile email is not enabled. Then, I'll reply in the comment thread. Eventually. Probably.

*Exception: I do not respond to "what if?" comments, but I do read them all. Those questions are open to your interpretation, and I don't wish to limit your imagination by what I thought the question was supposed to be.
