What if when you heard music, via the radio, in the store, or just from random passersby, it somehow predicted what was going to happen to you or around you?

I'd wear earplugs when out in public! And watch videos etc. on mute, I guess. Although yesterday on the way home from grocery shopping, my phone slipped under a seat and Cyndy Lauper started in about girls wanting to have fun. That would be okay, to have the fun she sang about! (Then, when I got home and my son came out to help with the groceries, he found out I have the song on my phone. I don't know why that embarrassed me!)
ReplyDeleteThere are far more embarrassing songs than that. Does he have no taste?
DeleteHow can you take music away from us like that?
ReplyDeleteBut, would it, though?
DeleteWhat Songbird said!
ReplyDeleteHow would that take music away from people, though?
DeleteOh my....I'm listening to "For Your Eyes Only". Well, what will happen.
ReplyDeleteGood question.
Deletei'd probably no longer to be able to enjoy music as much as I do, haha!
ReplyDeleteHope that your week is going well :)
Away From The Blue
Would it take music enjoyment away, though?
DeleteI don't think I'd want to know so much of the future. I mean, if you had the radio on at work all day like we do, that's a lot of predictions!
ReplyDeleteThat could make an interesting what if for a fantasy novel. You have some good ideas. Maybe you should start writing.
ReplyDeleteWell, I can prob tell you....I start dancing so it that is all that happens, it might not be so bad! Not bad for me but others might not care for it. haha
ReplyDeleteNothing wrong with that.
DeleteI sure hope it not elevator music.
ReplyDeleteCoffee is on and stay safe
Haha! I was just listening to Crying In The Rain on the radio on our drive home and it started to rain!
ReplyDeleteOh, wow. I can totally imagine a character insistent on wearing a headset nonstop and having a set playlist for an optimum outcome. But even that might backfire depending upon circumstances, couldn't it? Neat concept. :D
ReplyDeleteYou've got a full story there.
