In honor of tomorrow's holiday, I thought I'd link to a 4th of July quiz. This one is from AARP, and it's a history one.
Let me know how you do. I only got 70%. Some historical things I know, others not so much.
My personal blog about the random things that are in my life: writing, knitting, and substitute teaching.
I appreciate your comments.
I respond to comments* via email, unless your profile email is not enabled. Then, I'll reply in the comment thread. Eventually. Probably.
*Exception: I do not respond to "what if?" comments, but I do read them all. Those questions are open to your interpretation, and I don't wish to limit your imagination by what I thought the question was supposed to be.
I only got half of them right. History isn't my strong point :)
ReplyDeleteOK I flunked big time but I am Canadian so I will go with that excuse...yes... that sounds good
ReplyDeleteI got 60%. I guess I better take a history refresher course :) Happy 4th!
ReplyDeletebetty
Some of those were kind of obscure.
DeleteHa! I got 40%. Very interesting factoids there, but not what I'd call your standard history. And I don't follow baseball AT ALL. Have a great 4th!

I don't think I'll know much, so I'll give the quiz a miss. But happy 4th of July!
ReplyDeleteThanks
DeleteWow. I sucked. And I majored in history.
ReplyDeleteCan I have an essay question instead?
DeleteYou did better than me! I only got 30%. Pathetic!
ReplyDeleteSome of them I knew from random things, others were kind of out there.
DeleteI'm afraid to even try. History is NOT my strength!
ReplyDeleteYou should at least try it. You might surprise yourself.
DeleteI got 3 out of 10. Sheesh. But that baseball question seems more like BASEBALL trivia, not 4th of July trivia (said the lawyer, arguing his case!)
ReplyDeleteTrue. I missed that question. I don't follow baseball at all.
DeleteWell, I started out as a history major - and I only got 50%. I wasn't even following baseball by 1983! Alana ramblinwitham.blogspot.com
ReplyDeleteI've never followed baseball.
Delete3/10. Glad I'm not the only one!
ReplyDeleteThere are so many easy quizzes out there. I didn't want to do that. I guess I found one that was too hard.
DeleteI'm not going to tell you how many I got right (two, cough) - but my excuse is that I'm British! I now know a lot more than I did before.
