It's singles' awareness day. The one day of the year that being single makes you feel even more like an outcast than the rest of the year. Yeah, I hate Valentine's Day. With a passion.
Which made me think of this week's question. (I'm so glad this fell on a Thursday this year.)
What if the world was set up for singles rather than couples?

I appreciate your comments.
I respond to comments* via email, unless your profile email is not enabled. Then, I'll reply in the comment thread. Eventually. Probably.
*Exception: I do not respond to "what if?" comments, but I do read them all. Those questions are open to your interpretation, and I don't wish to limit your imagination by what I thought the question was supposed to be.

Ummm...don't hate me for saying this, but I think it actually IS already set up pretty well for both. :) Though believe me, I know sometimes it does NOT feel that way. :/
ReplyDeleteOh, it's much better than it was a couple centuries ago, for sure. But there's a push, especially during certain days, for people to be paired up. And the idea here is to imagine a world where being paired up isn't the norm. What would that look like?
ReplyDeleteyeah. I've never liked Valentine's Day.
