I took some new Bullseye Beanie pics...
Turns out the better pictures came from my phone rather than my camera. Interesting.
I also ended up taking some more pictures of my smoothie cozies...
And I did take new pictures of the new unicorn gift card holder...
But my big project this week wasn't done in crochet or knit. I've been doing a little Pinterest perusing, and I ran across a s'mores bark recipe.
I've been obsessed with s'mores lately. I think it's the only thing I ever liked about camping. So, when I saw the recipe, I knew I had to try it. And... It's interesting.
S'mores Bark (not the best shot, but the only picture of the seven that came out) |
I made quite a few mistakes in the assembling of this, not least of which I got the layers a bit too thick. But I know what to do differently next time. Because in all likelihood, there will be a next time.
Have you ever tried a recipe from Pinterest? How did it turn out?
Wow, you have been busy! All of your projects turned out great! And I bet your s'mores dessert tasted fantastic!
ReplyDeleteThere's a bit too much chocolate in the s'mores. Shocking, I know.
DeleteI would eat that.
ReplyDeleteI bet that unicorn card holder is a big seller.
Those bullseye beanies look fantastic!
ReplyDeleteI have no tried a recipe from Pinterest as I've often felt like there would be no way I could do it as well.
ReplyDeleteJust saying the words 'smoothie cozy' out loud makes me happy, btw.
The beanies have such a great color scheme. :)
Thanks. As for the recipes, I picked a fairly easy one. It was all melt and go. I can handle that ;)
DeleteSay chocolate and I am there. No recipes from Pinterest, but my SiL uses it all the time. Love the bullseye beanies, love basically everything.
ReplyDeleteThanks.
DeleteHeh, that smoothie cozy is so cute. I can't remember seeing it before and I don't know how I could have missed it.
ReplyDeleteAnd now I want smores.
Love the new pics, and I'm eyeballing the unicorn
ReplyDeleteHe's cute, isn't he?
DeleteThe pony is darling.
ReplyDeleteCoffee is on
I'm not bothered about the presentation, as long as it tastes great!
ReplyDeleteHmmm chocolate cakes yum, don't tempt me. I'm trying to be good.
ReplyDeleteLove the pictures of the beanies. Very bright and colorful. I will have to check out that recipe. I love everything S'mores too!
ReplyDeleteWhen I saw the s'mores, I knew I had to try it. Let me know if you do and how yours turn out.
DeleteThe beanie hats are great. The unicorn gift card holders are cute. I have yet to try any Pinterest recipe
ReplyDeleteThanks.
DeleteThe S'Mores Bark looks delicious! I had to say "no" to Pinterest. Too much social medial sites out there, too little time :)
ReplyDeletebetty
I have tried a malteser slice which was delicious and easy. I love those bullseye beanies!
ReplyDeleteI'll have to look that one up.
DeleteSorry you feel overwhelmed. It's interesting what things can make us feel that way in this era. I've not tried any recipes on Pinterest. In fact I haven't really been on there at all. All the different social media tends to overwhelm me! Yesterday I learned about something called YouNow which is some sort of vid chat platform. My latest favorite band, Palaye Royale, is apparently hooked into it. Be well!
ReplyDeleteIt's a good overwhelmed, though. Too many pictures to go through, and pretty good pictures at that. I've had the opposite problem for far too long.
DeleteYouNow, eh? Never heard of it. I'll have to take a look.
Wow...you have been busy knocking somethings out. Love the beanies.
ReplyDeleteThanks. Although, the things have been made for a while. Only the pictures are new.
DeleteThe s'mores bark doesn't look too thick to me. Then again, can you ever really go wrong with chocolate, graham cracker, and marshmallow?
ReplyDeleteThe chocolate tastes too thick. The marshmallow layer isn't too thick.
DeleteI've been in picture land too for my Etsy shop. I'm tempted to get some professional lighting because it is not easy to get the colors to pop.
ReplyDeletePhoto editing software. And I find that it's best to do it outside and use natural light. Just not directly in the sun.
DeleteI've only tried one recipe from Pinterest. It was okay; nothing fabulous, but not terrible. Glad you liked your s'mores.
ReplyDeleteAnd I still have some left. It made a whole bunch. Sorry your recipe didn't come out great.
