Worst Movies Ever?

I've been rather liking the list site for quizzes, so I went back there this week. I'll have to change it up sometime soon, but not quite yet.

This list is one I disagree with, mostly. I mean, they don't have Dear God on it. I can't take a worst movies ever list seriously if it doesn't have the worst movie I've ever seen on it. (The premise was interesting, but the execution...)

But, they do have Jupiter Ascending. Seriously, don't. I'm giving you some excellent advice here. Don't bother with either of those movies. Ever.

Of the 38 listed, I've seen 15. And about half of those I don't regret. Your mileage might vary.

Worst Movies Ever?

So, how many have you seen? Do you agree that those are the worst movies ever? What's a really bad movie you've seen that isn't listed here?

  1. When I was a teen I was at the movies all the time. However, I don't go often these days....oops, no one is going these days! haha...However I have seen a couple. MIB 2, I liked it. But then again I like MIB. Blind Side, it was okay but I have heard that it was nothing like that. And yes Jurassic World is not worth seeing again. HAHA...One bad one I saw that I could not stand was A Night at the Roxbury. There have been a lot more but that one hangs in my mind cause I rib my son about it all the time. He suggested it years ago and he thought it was good...

    1. I had a friend recommend Tank Girl. The rest of us were like, "Huh?", but he loved it. So, there are those that do appreciate the bad.

    2. Well I have to say some of the bad makes for a good laugh or two, esp if you see them with a group of folks.

  2. I got 37% and some of these films on this list are superb like Pleasantville so I am not sure who made this list up but this list is very personalized and wrong. I saw Plan 9 From Outer Space, The Swarm, Tentacles, Attack of the 50 ft Woman...there are so many bad movies

    1. Yeah, Pleasantville I considered one of the head scratchers as to why it was included. Definitely a personal list, which is why I used it. I think so many arguments can be made as to why about half those movies don't belong on it. (Not Jupiter Ascending, but the others.)

  3. Believe it or not I don't think I've seen a single one on the list, guess I'm glad I didn't lol

  4. I don't agree with quite a few on the list. Knives Out? Star Trek Into Darkness? Antman? Love those movies!

  5. Wait, what??? Ant-Man 1 & 2? The Last Jedi? I reject this quiz as being too incorrect to yield anything meaningful.

  6. I saw 4 of them so 11%. I hadn't even heard of some of these myself.

  7. I saw 9, one because we had to study a particular scene in school English (The Untouchables). But the rest I chose to watch and had no problem with. In fact, I've rewatched a few of them, lol.

  8. Two out of 38. I agree with the pan of MIB 2. The original Men in Black was awesome. The second one - what a sophomore slump that was. But since I don't see movies a whole lot, I tend to stay away from the real stinkers just by default "why would I watch that?"

    1. Yeah, I agree MIB 2 was a disappointment. Not the worst movie I've ever seen, though.

  9. I am very selective with movies. I have seen five of them. I didn't like so much Star trek and MIB2.

  10. Well, I've only seen one, because they aren't my kind of movies! But, the one I did see, Jurassic World, I liked! I thought it brought the old ones in enough for fans of them, and introduced new things. I don't think Chris Pratt is a very good actor, but the rest made up for him.

    1. I have not seen Jurassic World for reasons. Yeah, the list did have a more spec fic bent.

  12. I'll have to check this out. I'm reminded of stinkers "Leviathan", "Welcome to Oblivion", and "Nemesis 2". Ugh... As for the movie you mentioned as bad, I never heard of it and was thinking of "Oh, God!" from 1977. This shows my age, but I still recall my brother reading the theater marquis out loud to scandalize our poor mother. I'll have to ask if that eternal prankster remembers the incident. Heh...

    1. I so remember Oh, God Book 2. That was the first one I saw, and I related to it pretty well as the main character was a girl roughly my age. I was a bit older when I found the first one.

No, Dear God came out in the '90s, and I had the misfortune to see it in the theater. I think if I saw it on TV I would have hated it less. Maybe. Not going to test the hypothesis, though.

  13. I've seen 4 out of 38, so 11%, but I disagree with Pleasantville being on that list. It was thought-provoking. And I actually LIKED The Last Jedi! Seriously.

So why wasn't Twilight on that list? That was laughably terrible. Still can't believe I saw that in a theater.

    1. Agreed, Pleasantville was interesting and The Last Jedi felt like a Star Wars movie in the best possible way.

  14. I saw 18 of them. What's so bad about Antman? Of course I like Paul Rudd.
