Normally, I would have told of my farmers market day on Monday,
but Monday was a holiday, and I decided to take the day off.
I managed to finish two more jellyfish,
and if you follow my shop on Facebook or you follow me on Instagram or Twitter, you've already seen these guys. One of my fellow vendors bought the little blue guy, and that left two hanging around my booth.
And finally, I connected with the requester of
so, I have a better picture
but her picture turned out better.
I am in the process of making one more orange jellyfish, and then I think I'll be out of the jellyfish business. Unless any of you would like to order one...
And that puts me between projects. Again. Sigh.

I still say the jellyfish are really cool looking.
ReplyDeleteIt's fun to see the talents of other bloggers. I would probably knit my fingers together.
ReplyDeleteBut it's just yarn, so you could cut your way out.
DeleteYour jellyfish are really cute!
ReplyDeleteThanks.
DeleteBest wishes on finding a new project and your sales. Happy crafting!
ReplyDeleteAny ideas?
DeleteSadly, I'm not very crafty. Critters like the jellyfish abound, though, and maybe you could hook folks into collecting. I'd certainly be tempted.
DeleteGlad the blue guy found a home! I'm sure the other three will be close behind. :)
ReplyDeleteWill you post a picture of the orange jellyfish when completed? I always love to see what colors you use.
The jellyfish are super cute! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks
DeleteThe jellyfish are so cute! I love them. And the gloves came out nicely, too.
ReplyDeleteI think the jellyfish are pretty cool. I hope you get lots of orders.
ReplyDeleteI would take an orange jellyfish; email me at lv2trnscrb@aol.com and let me know pricing, etc. They are so cute!
ReplyDeleteGood to take a holiday every once in awhile, even between projects :)
betty
Yeah, just so long as there is something interesting to watch on TV...
DeleteThose jellyfish are the cutest things I've ever seen!
ReplyDeleteThanks. The designer is very talented.
DeleteThe jellyfish are adorable. I bought a pair of crocheted lace fingerless gloves for one of my costumes last year (or maybe the year before). Yours are much nicer, not to mention prettier.
ReplyDeleteVR Barkowski
You're never between projects for long!
ReplyDeleteIt feels longer when I'm itching to do something but have nothing to do.
DeleteNice looking pieces. I know if I start to crochet it would help my mood.
ReplyDeleteI like your facebook page.
Coffee is on
Thanks. I have the link to the pattern posted somewhere. You should have a go.
DeleteGreat booth setup. That brings back memories when I used to make and sell tie dye clothing in southern CA. Your work is very nice. I hope you sell lots. I love all the colors.
ReplyDeleteThanks. I'm working on the setup, changing it here and there, looking to get it just right.
DeleteAw the jelly fish are adorable! The herd would do some damage to those I'm thinking. So many tempting little legs.
ReplyDeleteYeah, my cats would love those jellyfish, but probably they wouldn't look like jelly fish for long...
ReplyDeleteAww! I still don't have a need for a jellyfish (I don't think. I do have a nephew…), but I love seeing all of the jellyfish you've made together! Know anyone who is having a baby? I feel those could be super cute in a nursery! Will there be any more crocheted sea creatures in your future? ;)
ReplyDeleteNo worries, I'm just putting it out there for anyone who might be interested.
DeleteNo more sea creatures, probably. The lady with the gloves has asked for a mermaid tail (you know, the blanket kind). So, perhaps...
The jellyfish are cute! Of course, the real ones are not what I want to see when I'm on the beach :) The glove is awesome!
ReplyDeleteI love the jellyfish. The gloves are cute but I can't imagine actually wearing them!!
ReplyDeleteI know. I'm not fond of gloves myself, generally. But they were fun to make.
DeleteYears ago, I would have been making those jellyfish. Now, I don't crochet at all during the hot weather. And right now, for us, it's heating up pretty good. Alana ramblinwitham.blogspot.com
ReplyDeleteI find that I prefer crochet when it's hot. My hands sweat so badly that knitting can be a trial. Not doing any yarny crafts? Not an option.
DeleteThose are such pretty designs. The three jellyfish make me think of triplets and that hand accessory has a cool goth vibe to it.
ReplyDeleteOf course, if they were for triplets, they would have to be identical. I think. (My twin nephews... We have to buy them the identical same toy. They won't share, and they don't do the whole two different thing.)
DeleteThe jelly fish is real cute.
ReplyDeleteI like those jelly fish and think they are cute. Maybe one can do fish and other animals for young kids
