Blank Slate

It's Tuesday, so it's time for my weekly random question...

Last week as part of the Liebster Award, I asked my nominees for a "what if" question. Romi C. from In the Way Everlasting came up with this one, and I'm shamelessly stealing it. (Please stop by Romi's blog to thank her for the wonderful question.)

What if you woke up one morning and you discovered you had become invisible?

  1. Would I still he able to he heard? If so, that would freak out my family -- hearing but not seeing me. I would probably run to the doctor. However, waking up invisible in an alternate universe, where I could watch what's happening but not be seen, that would be pretty cool.

  2. Ever read The Invisible Man? That. Although I would be curious as to how I could see with invisible eyes.

  3. Oh how to be a fly on the wall! It would be neat but I probably would want to have the ability to turn it on and off when i want:)

  4. It would be fun for a few hours, but then it would get REALLY lonely.

    1. Well, unless you could recruit a helper or something.

  5. It would get lonely but it'd be great for just one day. I wonder if anyone would miss me? Probably not. Only my boss :( Could you still eat? It would be great if you could still eat!

    1. If it isn't addressed in the question, it's open to your interpretation, so I'd say yes, you can eat.

  6. Would definitely freak me out in the morning!

  7. That would be kind of cool; you could go and check things out without people knowing you were around. I would just hope it wouldn't be a permanent condition.

I appreciate your comments.

I respond to comments* via email, unless your profile email is not enabled. Then, I'll reply in the comment thread. Eventually. Probably.

*Exception: I do not respond to "what if?" comments, but I do read them all. Those questions are open to your interpretation, and I don't wish to limit your imagination by what I thought the question was supposed to be.
