The reluctant sweater is kind of on a break, and I haven't had the time and space to continue the ugly slippers video, so I did what any reasonable person would do. I started a new project.
No, I'm not going to tell you what it is. As I'm working it backwards (kind of), I'm not expecting anyone to have any idea, either.
I should be in more of an explain-y mood next week. At which point there should be more to see. Maybe.

ReplyDeleteI can't even begin to guess! Working backwards? That reminds me of a Jeffery Deaver novel, The October List. It's written backwards. That is, it moves backwards in time. Even though you know how it ends, or begins, it helps to read it more than once! It's very good if you like mysteries. It's a stand alone not like this other work.

ReplyDeleteA stuffed animal. Not working on the body yet, you are making smaller body parts. Makes me recall a giraffe I started to crochet, and gave up on.
ReplyDeleteYeah, it occurred to me that making the bits after the main body annoys me. Once the body is done, I want to assemble. So, why not do the bits first?

It brought me back here and to square one again. Sigh. Anyway, no idea what you are going to make but I'm sure it will be a great project. I saw a really cool project today - a book cover. It was kinda like a giant envelope for a book that fitted it perfectly and where the "flap" of the envelope goes it buttoned down. I thought that would be perfect for a gift. Just need to find a pattern (it was a picture a friend sent me)
