By now I'm sure you heard about how 60 Minutes had a story all ready to go about CECOT only to have it pulled by the new head of news because the news is no longer critical of the regime. But, of course, almost immediately the segment escaped containment.

If you look through that thread, I saw a couple other ways to view it if you're so inclined (and this way doesn't work for you).
And then PBS did a segment on Frontline: Surviving CECOT. This one should be easier to view.

ReplyDeleteA friend from Canada sent it to me on Christmas Eve just before we were ready to leave for the family gathering. So, I've not seen it. I've read quite a bit about it and it's beyond disgusting. So many people should be in jail, IMHO; and not the immigrants. I keep hoping 2026 will be better. Never in my wildest imagination did I think this country would stoop so low. I'm repulsed and ashamed of them, and all who support this disgusting regime. I have a whistle, thus far nothing immediately around me has happened; but about 3-5 miles around us have had issues with being being detained and disappeared.
ReplyDeleteI thought the video was still up on YouTube. Thank you for the alternate sources . It is sometimes hard to believe what is happening in our country. But people getting a hold of this and posting it online restore some of my faith in humanity. Maybe.
