Wind Chime

I was out walking Buttercup the other day, as I do, and pondering blog posts. It was time to contemplate W and what I'd post for today.

This is Buttercup

Buttercup and I have a little disagreement. I believe we should make a full circuit of the path. Buttercup looks for a shortcut.

I had not let Buttercup take her usual shortcut. She wasn't pleased. So, she went in search of another shortcut. Only, it wasn't a shortcut unless I let her turn back the way we came. So, she's only making her walk longer.

Anyway, while on our little Buttercup detour, I spied a wind chime someone had hung under the staircase.

And that's good enough for today.

I'm so glad the neighbors are decorating enough to fill my Saturday A to Z posts. They've been very helpful.

Today's A to Z Challenge post brought to you by the letter

  1. Jamie here: Windchimes sound pretty, but can also get a little loud in a heavy wind.

  2. Buttercup is a cutie! There were windchimes in a tree when I moved in, so I guess the neighbors don't mind them. Or got used to them.

    1. It seems like everyone has windchimes around here. At least, most places I've been has someone with windchimes.

  6. I love wind chimes. I have two, as does my neighbor across the street. My cousin lives in North Carolina near the Outer Banks and she has a wind chime that sounds like a buoy. Wicked cool.

  8. LOL! Yay for Buttercup saving your A to Z! I personally love windchimes! I've also heard they can keep rattlesnakes away so I may invest in a few this year ;-)

    1. I think saved is a rather strong word here. Assisted is more like.

  12. What, Buttercup doesn't like her "Walks" Or "Wandering" in the early spring "Weather"? Just being "W" silly. Windchimes are pretty.

    1. Yup, Buttercup frequently would rather not walk. I win that battle, though.

  14. Omgosh, Buttercup looks so cute n' snuggly! Sometimes I let my dog walk me, but there are no shortcuts with him. He'd walk me all over Boise if I let him! Omgosh. You need a pic of Butterscotch up on your side bar. So stinkin cute!

    1. Oh, she gets to pick the path, until she looks for a shortcut. I don't think it'd be a good idea to add her to the sidebar as she's not mine. (Her person doesn't walk well, so I just walk her.)
