How Much Do You Know About Independence Day?

Hey, it's the 4th of July. And it's Friday. So, let me see if I can find a quiz on theme. I'm sure I can...

(This is one of those U.S.-centric things. Sorry, readers outside of the U.S.)

How Much Do You Know About Independence Day?

Some of the questions are obvious. Some are more of a challenge. I got 13/15. (One of them I did not know. The other I should have known. Probably. But I got a couple correct that were educated guesses, so it balanced out.)

If you try it, let me know how you did in the comments. Happy 4th.

  1. 13/15. Probably got the same two wrong that you did, for the same reasons

  2. Jamie here: I now do a trivia class at work, and last week I chose to do it on the 4th of July, since we are off today (the day itself).

  3. Did about five questions, then the "next" button was hidden under multiple ads over and over, so I quit. Usually there is an option to close them out and tell them why, that they covered content, but these didn't seem to.

    1. And this quiz site is loads better than the one I was using before. Kinda sad, that. Yeah, it's pretty cluttered with ads. One of these days I'll find a good site for random quizzes, but as I use it so infrequently, I'm not looking as actively as I could be.

  5. I got 66% (5 wrong). Some of the answers I knew from when I studied for the naturalization. I guessed on the wrong ones....

    1. Yeah, some of them were tricky. Good job, though.

I appreciate your comments.

I respond to comments* via email, unless your profile email is not enabled. Then, I'll reply in the comment thread. Eventually. Probably.

*Exception: I do not respond to "what if?" comments, but I do read them all. Those questions are open to your interpretation, and I don't wish to limit your imagination by what I thought the question was supposed to be.
