Accountability?

I'm tired, so I'm going to let someone else do the talking today:

I will not let the world forget what the Trump administration did to Minnesota.

If you can't access the video, the post is here

Although, I don't believe ICE is really leaving Minnesota. ICE is still in LA. But it's not making national news, so we've kind of forgotten. ICE is expanding, not retreating.

They are still committing atrocities. (Against children.) Do not forget.

  1. Yes, they aren't leaving, but expecting us to believe they are. Like they weren't going to the Super Bowl or the Olympics. Although, by what right do they have to go to other countries? Oh... I forgot, rights don't matter anymore.

  2. The videos I've seen are just horrible.

  3. They are in my community but strange how that fact doesn't seem to make it to the local 5pm news. Or the 10pm. And they have bought one of those warehouses in New York State.

  4. Leaders like Trump are heartless. There are serious issues that need attention, no doubt. But as the speaker says, no 2-year-old is a threat to anyone.

  6. Now there's the New York Times article on DHS demanding identifying data behind anti-ICE accounts - email addresses and other identifying data. It's what many suspected but now we know. Robert Reich had an interesting posting about it on Facebook.

    1. I heard that too (of course, after I had finalized this post). Freedom of speech my big toe!

  7. I keep hoping that they will eventually be held accountable. Judgement at Nuremburg has become my feel-good movie.

I appreciate your comments.

I respond to comments* via email, unless your profile email is not enabled. Then, I'll reply in the comment thread. Eventually. Probably.

*Exception: I do not respond to "what if?" comments, but I do read them all. Those questions are open to your interpretation, and I don't wish to limit your imagination by what I thought the question was supposed to be.
