I haven't really been following the news lately. So much bad news. But, there is some good.
This clip from Rachel Maddow's show last week talks about all the things that are good about having a bad president. Mainly, his incompetence is making it harder for his policies to be implemented.
I mean... not great. But it's something. Keep pushing back. It's us pushing back that's helping.

I mean if we must look for pro's then I guess that is one of them.
ReplyDeleteYour genuine thoughts on what has happened in the world are really appreciated. People have the right to have differing opinions about any international issue. However, one of the most tragic realities in the world right now, in my opinion, is that the Western media have a horrible double standard.
ReplyDeleteThey keep sane washing him. Yup, that's not good.
DeleteUgh, I can't even be positive about this side of things - although, I get it.
ReplyDeleteTrue. But I can't keep being angry all the time. I need some joy. This brings me a little joy.
DeleteHe’s a disaster, and the full impact of his evil doings probably won’t be known for decades. The history books are not going to be kind, but we will be gone by then…
ReplyDeleteCelebrating today that SCOTUS finally said no
ReplyDeleteYes. Absolutely. Not 100%, but some pushback is nice.
DeleteDeus caritas est!
ReplyDeleteOne of my biggest fears, for what it's worth, is that he will become incapacitated or worse, and the #2 person we'd have in charge for the next two plus years is younger and would just finish the job of destroying our nation with youthful vigor. Among his supporters that I know, their personal support seems to be unwavering because they believe in those causes. They may abandon him, but not his worldviews. As for the medal ceremony - fine, many seniors (I,, for one) would have the same problem. But they wouldn't do what he did! That look on his face spoke volumes.
ReplyDeleteYeah, the whole Project 2025 stuff is horrifying, and so many people think that it's a good thing.
DeleteI couldn't agree more. Glad we have a competent president
