Merry Christmas. I doubt I'll be around, so rather than a post, I'm linking to my favorite Christmas movie (although, I haven't previewed this, so I have no idea of the quality. I doubt anyone is going to click through and watch the whole thing anyway. I'm sure you all have better things to do).
If you care to comment just to say you stopped by, let me know what your favorite Christmas movie is. (If you don't have a favorite, pick a winter movie you like.)
My favorite Christmas movie? Hard to say between It's a Wonderful Life, Home Alone, and A Christmas Story. Do I have to choose?
ReplyDeleteThose are three excellent choices.
DeleteMerry Christmas to you. I can't even recall Christmas movies except Dickens's Christmas Carol which I taught at school and loved too.
ReplyDeleteI doubt they're as ubiquitous in your part of the world as they are in mine.
DeleteI like Die Hard (yes, I consider it a Xmas movie) and Elf. Happy Holidays!
ReplyDeleteI'll agree that Die Hard is a Christmas movie. In fact, I gifted my brother something Die Hard this year.
DeleteMerry Christmas. We went out last night and got home just in time to watch the end of “it’s a wonderful life”. We can recite dialogue along with the characters, we’ve seen it that often. Still a great movie.
ReplyDeleteIt is.
DeleteHappy Christmas, Liz! I spent the day hanging out with my cats. I made the attempt to watch Capra's classic with Jimmy Stewart, but it made me too sad.
ReplyDeleteI understand. Some movies you have to be in the right mood for.
DeleteI adore Mimi Rogers. :D
ReplyDeleteAnd she's great in this.
DeleteMy favourite film of all is It's a Wonderful Life.i love that film. Love Miracle on 34th Street, the original as well as White Christmas, Holiday Inn and Going My Way.
ReplyDeleteI don't think I've seen Going My Way. Great choices.
DeleteThe sixties version of "How the Grinch Stole Christmas" is my favorite but I enjoyed watching "The Christmas List", so thank you.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you enjoyed it. I do love this movie.
