I made another one.
For this version, I reversed the shaping.
And I used a different colorway (called "Nordic").
This time, I ended with the same 21 stitches I started with.
(The other one's colorway was called "Dragonfly". For comparison...)
They're for twins. (Their Christmas presents.) I couldn't make the exact same one for each.
So, tell me, those of you who have winter, is it still winter? Or did I finish these just in time for them to pack them up for next year?
(We're having a southern California winter cold snap at the moment. It's been really, really cold for us. But I heard the rest of the country is getting warmer. I mean, I hope for warmth for you all, but my timing just kinda sucks. Ah well, that's on me.)
Those are perfect for twins. They won't get them mixed up.
ReplyDeleteWe were in the eighties this past weekend. Great weather...for April!
Pretty scarfs! I live in the south, so I couldn't tell you if it's too late for them. I know when I lived in Ohio, we usually had one last big blast of winter for Saint Patrick's Day.
ReplyDeleteSad to say that's good news ;)
DeleteIt's been getting warmer for us, but warmer is still usually below 0 - and no matter how warm it gets, you can't count winter out. Way too early for that.
ReplyDeleteGood to know. Thanks.
DeleteI'm a huge fan of scarves. If my neck's warm, I'm warm. You've created some very colorful ones here.
ReplyDeleteThe scarves look great and if you're visiting Europe anytime soon, I believe they're experiencing winter snow over there!
ReplyDeleteThese are amazing and the twins still need scarves to play outside!
ReplyDeleteThere might be one more big storm, but I think winter might be done for the year. They might want them for next year, though.
ReplyDeleteWe still have some months left in our cyclone season. I like the scarves!
ReplyDeleteThey're beautiful. I love the dragonfly one.
ReplyDeleteNo worries! A pretty scarf is a welcome sight in the closet alongside seasonal jackets or worn during a surprise cold snap. Well done. They're beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThanks.
DeleteThe twins will adore them.
ReplyDeleteWe'll see. They're 4, so I don't know if they'll care all that much.
DeleteWow...you are doing some planning ahead I see! Great job.
ReplyDeletePlanning ahead? *snort* Nope, these are two months late.
DeleteUnfortunately, it's still winter where I am. Spring peaks in then winter is like, NOPE!
ReplyDeleteGood, maybe they'll still get some use out of them this year :)
DeletePretty! And nice for twins. We're going back and forth Winter/Summer/Winter. So would still work here every few days. lol
ReplyDeleteThese are really nice looking and they will love them. No..it’s not too late because we still will get a few cold spells for sure
