I'm a big fantasy fan. Other worlds. Other possibilities.
Science posits the existence of other worlds, be them extrasolar planets or parallel universes. Places that we can't reach (yet?). Or can we?
What if we can "sense" these other worlds? What if the fictional realms "created" by writers actually exist somewhere we can't physically reach?
Oh, that would be wonderful! Maybe that's why the world is clearer sometimes than at others. Whatever separates us gets "thin" at times.
ReplyDeleteOooh, I hadn't considered that...
DeleteI wish magic existed. I'd be more excited about that!
ReplyDeleteHmmm. I bet I could work that into a "what if"...
DeleteLove the idea of a parallel existence that reflects the realms we create, but I write some pretty dark stuff. Not sure I want to think too much about those worlds being real. They may be too real already.
ReplyDeleteVR Barkowski
Shhh!!! If you type too loudly people will catch on. *shifty eyes* My dimension portal only works on full moons and tidal shifts, but you didn't hear that from me. ;)
ReplyDeleteOh, sorry. Didn't mean to blast that secret.
DeleteA fascinating subject. Science fiction books, movies and TV's Star Trek have done much with this topic! I'm hooked!
ReplyDeleteHi. Just nominated you for the Sunshine Award over at my blog. Come check it out!
Gee, thanks. *Blushes*
DeleteThat would be pretty cool! I have a couple of fantasy worlds I'd like to be out there somewhere. If we writers are connected to them, we should be able to open the portal that way.
ReplyDeleteThere are a lot of nice potential stories here. Good one.
