Placebo or Not?

A couple weeks ago, Deepak Chopra wrote an article for SF Gate about the placebo effect. And it got me thinking...

    What if we could capture all the energy coming off of the sun and save it for use on earth?

    I can play this what if game all day.

    I wouldn't be surprised if diseases could be cured this way - but not if people knew it was a placebo.

    If only. My mother thinks she can cure herself. And she's had a rattling cough for years.
