More Projects in Progress

Last week I showed the progress of the tablet buddy (which needs a better name, if anyone thinks of one...). I did actually finish it...

And I'm told it arrived at its destination. Whew.

Now on to the next order...
School gets out this Thursday, so it's blogging as usual for me this week. Show of hands: how many of you are already on vacation? How many of you are working this week like me?

    1. So many districts are getting out late this year. It's like they had a conference call or something and all decided.

  2. I'm working as usual; the kids here with the different school districts are off on 2 different schedules. One district started today and goes back January 3rd. The other district starts 12/23 and resumes 01/08. I think as a parent I would want the 2nd schedule, gives me 4 days this week to keep working on getting Christmas things ready.

  4. Oddly enough, I'm not working today and Wednesday (possibly not tomorrow), but I am working Thursday and Friday. *shrugs* But then I'm going to Canada for winter vacation, so that's fun! :) (I just haven't planned anything aside from one-way return tickets to my hometown. So guess what I will be doing in the next few days? Along with finishing Christmas prep of course!)

  5. School has half day on Friday. Then, the cherubs are off until January 3rd. The custodians (aka "Janitors With Keys") will keep living the dream. We DO have next Monday and Tuesday off (and the following Friday and Monday), but on Wednesday and Thursday of next week, we'll pretty much just stare at each other.

  6. My team officially finishes on Friday until the 3rd but I was a clever sausage who saved her holiday for the Christmas break and overbudgetted by about four days, so I'm wrapping up on Wednesday at 4:30pm.

I'm also finishing early tomorrow (and I got away early today too) because of the aforementioned extra holiday hours. :-)

  8. I still have a lot to do this week. Once that's done, I'll be wrapping an excellent present I ordered for my mom. :)

  9. Good job getting that done! It turned out nicely. I work straight through. No breaks for me.

  10. I'm working this week. I was off last week to do all my decorations. I have next week off but plan to visit people I have not seen in a while. I wish I knew a name for the Tablet holder. Love the colour of the jellyfish

    1. I wish I could take credit for that, but the color was a request.

    1. I wish I could take credit for them, but the colors were requested by the customers. They have nice taste, though.

  13. I am not in education so I worked - my husband's job is in retail, so it was pretty hard for him. But right now, I'm actually trying to finish a crochet project I started over three years ago. It was a gift for my son (I finally told him) and he's been so patient. Alana ramblinwitham.blogspot.com

    1. Three years is pretty good, actually. I had an afghan that took me six. Glad you're plugging away at it.
